 Since 2020, Hirosaki University International Exchange Hall has been a mixed-housing facility where Japanese students and international students live together.

 With the aim of further fostering the internationalization of our university, we are recruiting Japanese students in their second year or above.

Application Qualifications Applicants must meet all of the following conditions.

(1) Persons who are undergraduate students in their second year or above enrolled at this university.
(2) Those who have been enrolled for more than half a year as of April 6.
(3) Persons who can continue their activities as Resident Supporters (hereinafter referred to as "RS") immediately after moving in.
 *The term of office for RS is six months, and reappointment is possible within the period of occupancy of the hall.
 *If you move into the hall as an RS, the university will pay half of the boarding fee as stipulated in the Hirosaki University International House Usage Regulations.
(3) Persons who are willing to provide guidance and advice on daily life to international students and actively cooperate with international exchange at our university.
(4)In addition to Japanese, those who have a certain level of language proficiency in foreign languages ​​such as English and Chinese.
(5) A person who can abide by the rules and instructions established by the university and act as a role model for other residents.
(6) Persons who are willing to interact with international students on a daily basis and actively support them through living support at the hall.
(7) Persons who are willing to work on problem-solving in order to ensure a smooth communal life within the hall.
(8) Persons who are able to participate in various exchange events held in the local area (including Saturdays and Sundays).
(9) During the period of residence, a person who regularly reports on the status of interactions and activities with international students without delay.

★ What is RS?
RS is a student who lives in the hall and serves as the hall's leader, supporting the lives of the resident foreign students (hereinafter referred to as "international students").
By responding to consultations with international students residing in the hall and providing guidance and advice on daily life, we help them live their daily lives with peace of mind and contribute to the smooth achievement of their study abroad goals, while also helping our students achieve their international goals. The aim is to expand your experience and horizons.

②If you violate the Hirosaki University International House Regulations and lose your eligibility to move in, you will be asked to leave the building and your RS will be dismissed.

③If a student is unable to participate in RS activities for reasons other than academics for more than three months, the RS may be dismissed.
