Our students gave presentations at the 73rd Japan-America Student Conference

The Japan-America Student Conference is a place where university students from Japan and the United States discuss various issues related to both countries. The 73rd event will be held in Aomori Prefecture for the first time.

At the Aomori site public forum held on August 8, 8 groups from Japan and the United States, including five members of the planning committee, gave presentations in English on ideas for revitalizing Aomori Prefecture under the theme of "regional revitalization from the perspective of young people."

In addition, it seems that this was the first attempt to mobilize the planning committee.

There were various measures, such as a proposal for a sightseeing tour centered on Osamu Dazai and an idea to promote migration by creating employment in Aomori Prefecture.

Sixteen students from Hirosaki University also attended this public forum and listened to the ideas of each team.

In addition, on August 8, the previous day, a lecture was given by Professor Akihiro Honda of Hirosaki University's Regional Strategy Research Institute, and the participants learned about energy.

At the Hachinohe Forum on the 10th, students from Japan and the United States, including our students, gave presentations on the theme of energy and security.
