Academic Lecture by Prof. Kelly Olden, University of Tennessee-Martin

 On October XNUMX, XNUMX (Thursday), an academic lecture was held by Professor Kelly Alden of the University of Tennessee-Martin, our partner school.Ms. Kelly stayed in Hirosaki City from October XNUMXst (Monday) to XNUMXth (Saturday), XNUMX, as an invited teacher under the XNUMX Teacher Exchange Program.During her visit, she introduced the Writing Center at the University of Tennessee-Martin, had research exchanges with Professor Tada, took an English class, visited the English Lounge, and paid a courtesy call to Kaori Sugihara, Director of the International Relations Office.

 The title of the academic lecture was "More Than We Imagined: The Diversity in Our Beliefs about Creative Writing," and he gave an easy-to-understand talk about creative writing and creativity.On the day of the event, undergraduate and graduate students, international students, faculty and staff members of the university listened intently to the lecture, and during the Q&A session, there was a lively discussion with the audience.In addition, even after the lecture was over, he interacted with the visitors in a friendly atmosphere from beginning to end.
