On April 20th, students studying the crafts of Tsugaru went on a field trip to Sannai Maruyama, a large excavation site that dates back to the Jomon Era.
After taking a tour of the site and learning about the pottery and clay figures that were excavated from it, they tried their hand at creating replicas of the figures.
One highlight of the day was a crane ride that allowed the students to take in the view that the Jomon people are thought to have seen from on top of the highest construction in the settlement.
4月20日（土）、津軽の工芸について学んでいる学生たちは、青森市にある三内丸山遺跡へ向かいました。遺跡を回り、縄文人の作った土器や土偶について学んでから土偶作りにも挑戦しました。
今回はクレーン車にも乗り、縄文時代の人たちが建てた、もっとも高い構造と同じ高さから近辺を見下ろすこともでき、充実した一日となりました。
