[Mr. Sawada] Japanese food culture and white tourism

On the 11th and 18th of November students studying Japanese food culture and White Tourism visited minpaku accomodation facilities in Hirakawa, Inakadate and Kuroishi, not far from Hirosaki. They toured parks, shrines and eating places within walking distance of these facilities and compiled rambling maps for tourists visiting the area from overseas. On the 25th, they presented their findings to the owners of the facilities and staff from Green Farm Noka Gura, as well as the Prefectural office who are collaborating to promote green tourism in the region.

It was a valuable opportunity for students to learn about local initiatives for the development of regional tourism.

Also on the 25th, we announced the results of the survey to the owners and staff of Green Farm Nogakuzo Co., Ltd., an agricultural production corporation that is collaborating to promote green tourism in the region, and to Aomori Prefecture.
