[Director Sugihara] We visited Chiang Mai University in Thailand

 On Thursday, November 11, 28, “The 2nd Workshop on Radiation Research and its relates issues 2019” was held in Chiang Mai, Thailand. More than 40 people participated in total.From this university, 14 faculty members from the Graduate School of Health Sciences, the Institute of Radiation Emergency Medicine, and the International Collaboration Office participated in the research. There was a lively discussion about the introduction of the contents and research contents.

 On the day before the workshop, we visited the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, and greeted and commemorated with the Dean, Vice Dean, Dean of Radiological Technology, Dean of Physical Therapy, Dean of Occupational Therapy, Dean of Medical Technology, and staff of each department. A gift was given.At that time, there was a positive exchange of opinions on further revitalizing exchanges with the Graduate School of Health Sciences and the National Institute for Radiation Emergency Medicine.After that, they visited the facilities of the Department of Radiology, Department of Physical Therapy, Department of Occupational Therapy, and Department of Medical Technology, Faculty of Health Sciences, Chiang Mai University, where staff and students introduced medical equipment and their research.

 Through participation in the 2nd Workshop on Radiation Research and its relates issues 2019 and visit to the Faculty of Health Sciences of Chiang Mai University, further collaboration and exchange between the two universities are expected in the future.
