Hirosaki University Graduate School of Health Sciences (Department of Regional Innovation) Nakagawa Laboratory conducts front-line research using the X-band electron spin resonance (ESR) imaging method, which is rare in the world.
As part of the JST Sakura Science Plan, we invited 29 faculty member from Mae Hwang Rang University in Thailand and 9 excellent graduate students from the pharmacy departments of Chiang Mai University and Khon Kaen University, both of which are partner universities of Hirosaki University, for 20 days from September 9th to 29th, 10.As a result, we were able to expand the scope of conventional joint research to the graduate student level.
The 10 days between arrival in Japan and returning home were very fulfilling, and at first I intended mainly to teach ESR imaging technology, but as I kept in touch with the invitees after returning home, I realized that the impact of Japan on young faculty and graduate students in this short period of time was not only science and technology, but also the importance and significance of the JST Sakura Science Plan.We would like to take this opportunity to further promote research exchanges in the future.
In this way, the Nakagawa laboratory has taken a step towards further development.
