The online summer program will be held from June 2022 to July 6, 1 at the University of Irkutsk (Russia), University of Otago (New Zealand), University of Turin (Italy), Thompson Rivers University (Canada), Mount Royal University (Canada), Thammasat University (Thailand), Tunku Abdul Rahman University (Malaysia), Tria University (Germany), University of Maine (USA), University of Hawaii Community College (USA), University of La Frontera (USA). Chile), 7 students from 26 partner universities participated.
The purpose of this program is to encourage students from overseas partner universities who are interested in studying at Hirosaki University to study at Hirosaki University by watching videos related to Japanese language and culture and experiencing our program.
During the program period, 13 Sophia students with a strong interest in studying abroad and international exchange participated in international exchange activities as Japanese language supporters, helping with assignments online and enjoying free conversation in Japanese.
In the post-event survey, the satisfaction level of the students who participated was high, and we received comments such as, "I really enjoyed the program with the Japanese language supporters, and made new friends," and "I learned a lot of new things."
The International Relations Office will continue to implement international exchange programs.
