On December 2019th (Sat) and 12th (Sun), 14, 15 exchange students from our university visited Goshogawara as part of a lecture by Associate Professor Hannah Joy Sawada [Japanese food culture and white tourism]. We visited Kazamaruso and private lodging facilities in the city, and while learning about New Year's foods and customs, we thought about tour contents for local inbound tourists.

On the first day of the 14th (Saturday), we experienced mochi pounding at Kazemaruso, ate traditional New Year's dishes from the region, and experienced a home stay at a home of the Goshogawara Green Tourism Council in groups of two or three. .
On the second day of the 15th (Sunday), we experienced New Year's activities at Kanagi Genki Village Kadarube, had lunch, and then headed to Goshogawara Shinmeigu Shrine.

It will be a valuable opportunity for international students to learn about local initiatives for the development of regional tourism, and the report submitted by the students to the Goshogawara Green Tourism Council will be used for future acceptance of tourists from overseas. is.
