 On June 6, 13, an inter-university exchange agreement was concluded between our university and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Ireland.It is valid for 5 years and is automatically renewed.

 From TUFS, Vice President Kashiwakura, Director of the Research Institute for Radiation Emergency Medicine, and Lecturer Hosoda from the Graduate School of Health Sciences visited the Irish Environmental Protection Agency Radiation Protection and Environmental Monitoring Station in Dublin from June 2019 to 6, 12. visited and signed.

 The EPA is an independent public agency that covers the full spectrum of environmental protection in Ireland.

 With the conclusion of this agreement, it is expected that both institutions will host a training course on radiological analysis for students.In addition, EPA is accredited as a standard organization and possesses advanced analysis technology, so it is possible to analyze radionuclides that cannot be analyzed at our university.

 Furthermore, in addition to educating students, we will increase the number of staff exchanges, share the radiological analysis technology that both sides have, and launch a new international joint research project from 2019 to 2020 during this visit. Also, it was discussed to dispatch lecturers and young researchers to give lectures at the educational symposium for young researchers on radiation and health (ESRHA2019) held annually by our university (sponsored by the Graduate School of Health Sciences). was
