Part 1 of the Global Ambassador Program Ends on a High Note: International Night!
2025年10月から2026年1月まで、弘前大学の学生11名がグローバルアンバサダープログラム第1部に参加しました。本プログラムは、日本にいながら国際交流に取り組む機会を提供し、グローバルアンバサダーとしての力を育み、将来の留学に向けたグローバルマインドの醸成を目的としています。
From October 2025 to January 2026, eleven Hirosaki University students participated in the first part of the Global Ambassador Program. This program gave students the opportunity to engage in international exchange while staying in Japan, develop global ambassador skills, and build a global mindset in preparation for future study abroad.
活動のハイライト/ Program Highlights
オンライン交流
グローバルアンバサダーのメンバーは海外協定校の学生とペアを組み、Zoomを使って計3回のオンラインミーティングを実施しました。テーマに沿って意見を交換し、異文化理解を深めました。また、活動の振り返りとして作成したポスターは、現在 「The Global Ambassador Programコーナー」（総合教育棟2階、イングリッシュ・ラウンジ向かい）に掲示されています。

Online Exchange
Each ambassador paired with a student from an overseas partner university and met online three times via Zoom. They discussed topics of their choice, exchanged ideas, and deepened cross-cultural understanding. Reflection posters created by the students are now on display in The Global Ambassador Program Corner (General Education Building, 2nd floor, opposite the English Lounge).

Language and Culture Swap
グローバルアンバサダーのメンバーは、留学生とともに7つのグループに分かれ、毎週90分の空きコマを活用し、「Language and Culture Swap」に参加しました。やさしい日本語と英語を用いて交流を行い、相互理解と友情を深めるとともに、リーダーシップおよびコミュニケーション能力を向上させました。
Global ambassadors joined seven on-campus groups with international students for weekly 90-minute sessions, scheduled during gaps between their classes. Using simple Japanese and English, students freely discussed topics of interest, built friendships, and strengthened leadership and communication skills.
インターナショナルナイト
第1部の締めくくりとして、12月24日に「インターナショナルナイト」を開催しました。グローバルアンバサダーが企画・運営し、日本人学生と留学生が集まり、世界の冬の文化を発表したり、音楽、ダンスやゲーム等を通じてで交流を深めたりしました。第1部を締めくくる、楽しく思い出に残るイベントとなりました。

International Night
The first part of the program concluded with a lively International Night on December 24. Global ambassadors played a central role in planning and running the event, which brought together Hirosaki University students and international students to share winter traditions, enjoy music and dance, and play interactive games. It was a fun, meaningful celebration of culture and connection—a memorable highlight for Part 1 of the program!
