The program at Chiang Mai University is to learn English (English conversation that can be used when looking for a job or traveling) and the basics of Thai (pronunciation, greetings, simple daily conversation), and the program at Thompson Rivers University is to learn English and Canadian culture. Since many students applied for this program, it was found that there was a strong need for online study abroad among students, and the results of the post-event questionnaire showed that the students themselves were able to feel the effects of this program.
One of the students who participated said, "Even though I was at home, I felt like I was studying with everyone else in the same classroom. I was able to experience the feeling of studying abroad from home and learn a foreign language.
