 From August to September XNUMX, the International Relations Office will hold an online study abroad program conducted by our partner universities, Chiang Mai University (Thailand) and Thompson Rivers University (Canada). , provided to the students of this university on a trial basis.A total of XNUMX students attended the program, XNUMX from Chiang Mai University and XNUMX from Thompson Rivers University.
 The program at Chiang Mai University is to learn English (English conversation that can be used when looking for a job or traveling) and the basics of Thai (pronunciation, greetings, simple daily conversation), and the program at Thompson Rivers University is to learn English and Canadian culture. The theme was learning.
 Since many students applied for this program, it was found that there was a strong need for online study abroad among students, and the results of the post-event questionnaire showed that the students themselves were able to feel the effects of this program.
 One of the students who participated said, "Even though I was at home, I felt like I was studying with everyone else in the same classroom. I was able to experience the feeling of studying abroad from home and learn a foreign language. If online study abroad like this becomes more popular in the future, I think it will open up a path for more people to study abroad.” In addition, I was able to understand different cultures, think about international issues from a perspective other than Japan, and learn how to study in the future. finished at home.
