6月7日（金）、津軽の工芸について学んでいる学生たちは、川崎染工場にて体験学習をしました。
藍の植物や藍染の行程について学んだあとハンカチを染め、乾くまで待っている間藍のお茶もいただきました。展示されている古い服装を見てこの地域の染めの由来について理解を深めました。
On June 7th students studying the crafts of the Tsugaru region went to experience indigo dyeing at Kawasaki Dye Works . They learnt about the indigo plant and the process by which the leaves are prepared for dyeing. They then dyed handkerchiefs in the workshop which dates back to the Edo era and tasted indigo tea while they waited for them to dry. They also looked at antique clothing on display, and learnt more about the origins of the craft.
