Scholarship classifications
▪Government-sponsored international students
I will study and conduct research at a Japanese university or other institution with the support of a scholarship from the Japanese government (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology).
▪ Privately financed international students
1) Foreign government-sponsored student
Foreign governments cover the expenses and dispatch these individuals to train human resources for their own countries, and they are accepted into our university through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Malaysian government-sponsored student
Chinese students studying in Japan
Indonesian government-sponsored student
2) Privately financed international students
This refers to privately funded international students who are not sponsored by foreign governments. Some of them also receive scholarships from prefectural governments or various organizations.
Classification by enrollment status
▪Undergraduate students
Persons who do not have Japanese nationality but have completed a 12-year course of schooling in a foreign country, etc.
You will need to take the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) administered by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), and then take our university's entrance examination.
After studying for four years or more and acquiring the required credits, you will be awarded a bachelor's degree.
▪Graduate student
Those who have graduated from a university, or those who have completed a 16-year course of schooling in a foreign country, etc.
Both government-sponsored and privately funded students must take the entrance examination for this university.
After being enrolled for two years or more and acquiring the required credits, a master's degree will be awarded.
▪Graduate students
Undergraduate research student
Those who have graduated from a university, or those who have completed a 16-year course of schooling in a foreign country, etc.
Graduate research student
Persons who have completed graduate school and hold a master's degree, etc.
The selection process will be based on submitted documents.
You are required to attend at least XNUMX hours of classes per week across seven subjects. The auditing period is either six months or one year, and it can be extended further if desired.
You will conduct research for one year under the guidance of a research advisor. You may audit courses related to your research topic, but you will not be able to earn credits for them. If you wish to extend the period, it may be done with the approval of the Graduate School Committee.
▪Auditors
Undergraduate auditing students, high school graduates, etc.
Graduate students (academic auditing students), university graduates, etc.
The selection process will be based on submitted documents.
You are required to attend at least XNUMX hours of classes per week across seven subjects. The auditing period is either six months or one year, and it can be extended further if desired.
