There are no staff on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and between December 29 and January 3.
On weekdays, a staff member is on duty at the Support Office between 10:15 and 15:00 and
at the International House between 15:00 and 17:00.
Fires
In the event of a fire, call “119” immediately.
Use the nearest fire extinguisher for initial fire fighting.
Fire precautions;
Before going to bed or going out, always inspect possible sources of fire such as electricity, cigarettes and gas.
In the event of an earthquake, the first priority is to prevent fire.
Traffic Accidents
If you are involved in a traffic accident, call the police at once. (Call 110)
If anyone is injured, call for an ambulance. (Call 119)
Confirm the number of the other driver.
Earthquakes
Japan is prone to earthquakes, so it is wise to plan for them. When an earthquake occurs, adhere to the following steps and don’t panic;
- Extinguish all sources of fire.
- Listen to the radio to get information and seek refuge calmly.
- Put on shoes, and protect your head by wearing a helmet or padded hood.
