1. What is the Sakura Science Program?
Promoting research and development and translating its results into innovation is a common global challenge for the future. In 2014, the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) launched the "Sakura Science Program," which invites outstanding young people from overseas to Japan for short periods to experience Japan's cutting-edge science, technology, and culture.

3. Application Deadline and Notification of Results
The application deadline for the 2026 academic year is as follows. You can apply anytime during this period.
Internal application deadline
Second public offering: June 27, 2026 (Gold)
Second public offering: June 12, 2026 (Gold)
Third public offering: September 4, 2026 (Gold)
*Applications for Course D are only accepted during the first round of applications.
* Please note that we may ask you to make some revisions to your application after it has been compiled.
