The Department of International Education and Collaboration at Hirosaki University is working to become a central hub for developing global talent. This includes providing support for various study abroad programs for students, expanding relationships with partner universities overseas, supporting international students, and facilitating researcher exchanges with universities abroad. These activities are made possible through the tremendous support we receive not only from university staff but also from the local community. In recent years, thanks to revolutionary advances in information transmission technology, anyone can freely access information from around the world at any time, and people can easily connect with each other through social media and other platforms, both domestically and internationally. It is precisely because of this era that we hope that young students, who are in the midst of their studies, will actually experience international exchange and studying abroad. In the real world, there is an atmosphere that can never be conveyed through a PC or smartphone screen. It is a world where all five senses are engaged.
