To provide opportunities for foreign language learning and cultural experiences without overseas travel, and to increase students' interest in studying abroad, we offer online programs for our students.
Hirosaki University will subsidize approximately 8% of the tuition fees.

2. Course Overview
Spanish language course (self-paced)
This course will help you acquire practical Spanish communication skills for everyday life, while also providing an opportunity to learn about Spanish-speaking cultures and societies.
During the course, you can study at your own pace according to your own schedule. You will learn at your own pace using online materials, videos, and practice assignments. Each module has assignments and quizzes, and you will receive a final evaluation at the end of the course.
Participants who pass the final evaluation will be issued a certificate of completion.

- A1.1 Introductory Level (First Half)
- A1.2 Introductory Level (Second Half)
- A2.1 Beginner Level (First Half)
- A2.2 Beginner level (second half), etc.
4. Study time
The recommended study time is approximately 3-5 hours per week, with a total estimated study time of about 30 hours..
*There are no fixed class dates and times.
* You can study at your own pace within the course period (12 weeks).
5. Application and Course Schedule
- ApplicationApplications are accepted at any time throughout the year.
- Course start date: The 1st of the month two months after the month of application
(Example: If you apply in August, the course will start on October 1st.) - Learning platform usage period: 12 weeks from the start date of the course
*Due to the time required for internal review, application procedures to the host university, and payment of tuition fees, the course start date will be the 1st of the month two months after the month of application.
*The final internal application deadline isEnd of August 2027.
6. Course Fee
135ユーロ（約25,400円）
→ Approximately 5,000 yen (Our university will cover approximately 8% of this cost.)

*The amount may fluctuate depending on the exchange rate.
*Optional one-on-one live lessons are also available! (Additional charges: 30 minutes €15 / 60 minutes €25)
7.Recruiting personnel

*We will accept registrations within the budget limits.Applications may be closed once the maximum number of participants is reached.
8.Eligible persons
(1) Undergraduate or graduate students of Hirosaki University
(2) Those who are interested in international exchange and foreign language learning and are actively working to improve their language skills.
(3) Those who can cooperate with a questionnaire to be conducted after the program ends.
(4) Those who utilize online learning materials, proceed with learning independently, and proactively engage in assignments and other tasks.
