★What is SIPS (Staff & Student Initiative for Promoting Study Abroad)?
This is a platform project originating from the "Tobitate! Study Abroad JAPAN" campaign (hereinafter referred to as "Tobitate"), which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to promote studying abroad. It is a new initiative that aims to maximize the impact of study abroad promotion activities by recruiting "university-specific teams" from all over the country, where staff and students who want to boost the momentum for studying abroad work together, and by creating a regular forum for mutual exchange and information sharing between universities, thereby fostering a network among universities.
★What is "Hongdae SIPS"?
This is an on-campus network that supports and encourages Hirosaki University students interested in studying abroad. Its aim is to increase the number of students studying abroad by holding study abroad-related events and disseminating information on social media. Furthermore, "Hirosaki SIPS" aims to serve as a community connecting Hirosaki University students and alumni with study abroad experience.

Join the "Hirosaki University SIPS" management team and help us promote Hirosaki University's study abroad program!
[Main activities for fiscal year 2025]
- Planning and managing events to promote studying abroad
- Planning and managing events at open campus events and school festivals.
- Information dissemination via social media
- Event planning in collaboration with SIPS teams from other universities
- Active participation in and cooperation with international exchange programs both inside and outside the university, including the International Alumni Association, etc.

The organizing team consists entirely of students who have studied abroad or are interested in studying abroad. You're sure to meet like-minded individuals who can inspire you!
