HIROSAKI Hayabusa College 10th Graduation Ceremony and 11th Entrance Ceremony were held!

　On Wednesday, April 2024, 4, Hirosaki University HIROSAKI Hayabusa College's 10th term completion ceremony and 10th term entrance ceremony were held.

　HIROSAKI Hayabusa College (hereinafter referred to as "Hayabusa College") is a program run by our university that provides a special educational curriculum to develop global human resources through short-term study abroad programs and completion reports in English. Hayabusa College started in 2013, and this year marks its 11th term.

　The graduation ceremony and entrance ceremony were attended by President Masaku Fukuda (principal), Director Koichi Wakabayashi, Director Masaaki Okazaki, as well as staff from the International Collaboration Headquarters, teachers in charge of the English Lounge, three 10th term graduates, and 11th term entrants. Six people attended.
(*The total number of graduates of the 10th period is 5 people, and the total number of students entering the 11th period is 7 people)

　At the graduation ceremony, Yusuke Senda, a graduate of the 10th class, gave a wonderful speech in English. In his speech, he thanked the faculty and staff at Hayabusa College for their support, and said as a global leader, "We promise to apply the lessons learned to our future success, making efforts to become global citizens and aiding future students in reaching the same goal." He loudly declared his future aspirations.

　Following Ms. Senda's speech, President Fukuda gave words of encouragement to the 10th batch of graduates, saying, ``Congratulations on your graduation.I hope you will continue to cooperate with the internationalization of Hirosaki University and the region.''

　At the entrance ceremony that followed, the 11th class of students received their admission letters. A total of seven students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Education, and Faculty of Medicine were selected as Hayabusa College's 11th batch of students after passing the final selection.

　The 11th class of students, who have inherited the baton from their seniors, are planning to engage in various activities as Hayabusa College students this year.
