[Types of Study Abroad] Long-term study abroad at a partner university

I am currently studying abroad at the University of Turin in Italy.

now12It's been almost a month since I started studying abroad.3Almost a month has passed. Winter has fully arrived, and the temperature is dropping.
However, so far, I've found the weather in Turin to be very pleasant.
Although I said the temperature is dropping, it rarely goes below freezing, and even at its lowest, it's still quite low.
It's around 0℃.
Since there isn't much wind, a hoodie and a light jacket are sufficient when going out.

I brought sweaters, turtlenecks, and Heattech clothing from Japan, but I haven't had a chance to wear them yet.
I think most of you reading this are used to the weather in Aomori, so you probably don't need to worry about the cold.

However, you must be careful to prevent it from drying out.
My lips were dry and chapped, and I left them alone thinking they would heal quickly, but the sores got deeper and deeper, and they took a long time to heal.
3It took about a week. Therefore, I think moisturizing cream and lip balm are essential.

Now, enough about the weather, this time I'd like to talk about where I currently liveHOLIDAY HOUSE I'd like to share some information about this topic. I hope it will be helpful for those considering studying abroad at the University of Turin when choosing where to live.

First, when entering the house, you don't use a physical key, but rather a virtual key attached to a link sent by the building manager to open the door. You need your smartphone to enter and exit the house, so it would be a big problem if you leave it behind or forget to charge it.
I've forgotten my smartphone twice, and one time I spent ages ringing the doorbell, and the other time I waited forever for my roommate to come over.

The kitchen is equipped with shared dishes, cups, frying pans, knives, and other cooking utensils.
They have large pots and a wide variety of dishes, so I haven't bought anything since arriving here.
We also have kitchen paper, of course.
Each person is assigned a number for the refrigerator, and they can use the refrigerator in the spot where their numbered sticker is located.
There are a total of 2 gas stoves.
5Since there's one, you won't end up fighting with your roommate over it.

Having two bathrooms is very convenient. Bath towels, toilet paper, shampoo, and body wash are provided, so you don't need to buy them yourself.

HOLIDAY HOUSE Cleaning staff come three times a week to clean the toilets, kitchen, and other areas, and they also refresh consumables like kitchen paper, toilet paper, and soap at that time, so there's nothing to worry about.

There's a large TV in the hallway where you can enjoy various content like Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube. I'm happy that I've become friends with a roommate by watching anime together on Netflix.

Thus, the basic necessities of life are quite well provided, and the monthly rent is€450 is quite a good price. If you're considering studying at the University of Turin and are looking for accommodation, I highly recommend LOMI HOUSE.Why don't you try living there?
