Aloha! Hello from Hawaii! Now, before I know it, only half of my study abroad life is left! We have reached the halfway point.
I can't believe how quickly time passes. Maybe time really does fly.

This time, in the first half, LCC (Leeward Community College) in Fall Semester I will write about my time in Hawaii in the second half of the term. Let's check it out!

The final exam ended quickly,F in ESL classall Semesteris over.
At the end of each class, we shared food from each country like a party, played werewolf games, and took pictures...we all had a great time.
When I think back to the days at Hirosaki University where I wrote nearly 1 reports and created classes in one semester (because I was taking a teacher's degree course...), I feel like the end of the semester has just passed.

I will briefly explain the contents of the LCC final exam. First of all, Reading & Listening class.
In this class, each student will write one report on their own culture, which was started in November.
ulletproof paragraphThe idea was to write it up according to the format.
However, I was able to finish it fairly easily because I had time to work on it during class and it was done in stages as homework.

Next is the grammar class.
This is a summary of the 10 units we have learned so far, including tenses and relative pronouns.
Exam(1 using relative pronouns00 words More than Wwriting) was conducted in a face-to-face and written format.
This is the Q at the end of the unit in regular classes.
uizI was able to pass the final exam without any difficulty because my professor set aside time for me to review and ask questions in person the day before the final exam.

Finally LSK110A university student called (here college studentThe final exam for the class to learn about the qualities, attitudes, and systems of0There were multiple choice questions and it was conducted online.
I was allowed to check the text during the test period, so the test ended without incident.

My December was very intense.
At 12am on December 10th, a major challenge in my life began.
Honolulu Marathon.
4 in kilometers
2.195km, in miles 26.6 miles…. Dawn in Honolulu in winter was 7 a.m., and people crowded in front of Ala Moana Beach Park, which was still dark.
I was wondering if there would be a countdown to the start, but after the national and state anthems were sung, fireworks went off and before I knew it, the long battle had begun.

Three miles ago, I met Yoshio Kojima, who was the ambassador for the Honolulu Marathon, and took a video with him.
After running for about 8 miles (12.8 km), I felt back pain and asked my friend to leave me behind.
I ran and walked and ran and walked, and when I got too tired I tried to follow the runners in front of me or something until I reached the halfway point.

This eastern part of OahuHawaiʻi Kai It was just hard to go to the area called. Even though it's Hawaii, it's a straight route where the scenery doesn't change easily. I was really happy to hear the cheers from the roadside.

For some reason, I finished with injuries all over my body and exhaustion, to the point where I thought my upper and lower bodies were two separate bodies.
No, it was exhausting. I expected to run for 7 hours, but it ended up being 5 and a half hours.

In the morning, I got on the bus and headed home. My host family welcomed me and congratulated me on my completion. My head hurts, my feet hurt, I can't do it again! Even though I thought so, I have already applied for next year's half marathon ♡

Enjoy your short winter vacation on Oahu!

Dole with friends from Hirosaki University Plantingand HaleiwaI went to the northwest area of Oahu called. It is an area where you can feel the atmosphere of old America.
DoleWhen you hear this, you think of banana!, but pineapple is the main ingredient.
We also took on the world's largest maze. I felt like I stepped through the hedge and became Totoro's niece.

At Haleiwa, it was all I could eat. We had the famous garlic shrimp and shaved ice, and enjoyed gelato and coffee.
I fell in love with the garlic shrimp, so I'll be going again. It smells really bad though.

In addition, A in the southwest of Oahuulani disneyI went to a place called Disney. There are no attractions as it is mainly a spa for hotel guests, but admission is free if you just want to go sightseeing.

Character greetings, which are difficult to do at Disney in Tokyo, can be done with time management at Aulani. I met 7 characters! Good luck!
The Hawaiian and Christmas characters were too cute...

There was also a Christmas party...
I spent a happy and fulfilling time in the community of my host family, who are now acquaintances of mine.

I'm about to go to a New Year's Eve party. It's nice that there are fireworks too.

Well, I hope 2024 will be a happy year for everyone.
