On February 1, 2020 (Thursday), the ``Hirosaki University 2021 Second Semester'' event was held for the purpose of deepening friendships between international students who will complete their study abroad period in the second half of this academic year and those related to the university, including current students. We held a meeting to send foreign students.
The meeting was divided into Parts 1 and 2. In Part 1, President Fukuda and Director Wakabayashi gave greetings to the international students, and exchange students Ou Qitu (China) and Hyun Sufan ( Korea) gave a speech in fluent Japanese about his memories of studying abroad, about Hirosaki, and his gratitude to the teachers and friends who helped him. Mr. Sugihara, Director of the International Collaboration Headquarters, sang a wonderful song for the graduating international students, accompanied by Professor Oda of the Faculty of Education.
In the second part, participants had a social gathering while eating sweets. During the entertainment, international students and Hong Kong University students performed songs, and the event ended with great success.
Thank you to everyone who showed off their entertainment.Also, to all the international students who will be graduating this semester, I hope that you will keep your memories of Hirosaki University in your hearts and work hard toward your goals even after you return home.And see you soon.Please come visit Hirosaki again.
