The Japan-America Student Conference, which celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, has a long history of students from both Japan and the United States finding topics on their own and engaging in discussions with mutual understanding.
The plenary session of the 76th Japan-America Student Conference (8/3-24) will be held in the United States.
Approximately 70 students from Japan and the United States belonged to one of seven study groups based on their interests, and over the course of approximately three weeks they traveled to three cities: LA, New Orleans, and Washington DC, learning about each region's culture. Through programs that touch on history and fieldwork, participants will deepen their understanding of themselves and further enrich their discussions.
At the final forum held at the end of the conference, we will disseminate the results of our activities to society. In addition to the main conference, there is also a spring training camp, voluntary training (scheduled to South Korea, voluntary participation), security training (optional participation), and a Japan-US student conference that is sure to be a life-changing experience. ing!
