Recruiting participants for the Japan-U.S.-Korea Global Leadership Youth Summit!

As announced by President Biden, President Yun, and Prime Minister Kishida at the Japan-U.S.-Korea Summit at Camp David in August 2023, the U.S. State Department, in partnership with the South Korean Ministry of Education, will conduct a The first "Japan-U.S.-Korea Global Leadership Youth Summit" will be held in Busan, South Korea.

The summit will bring together young leaders from South Korea, Japan, the United States, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands to improve their global leadership skills, learn about broader regional issues and successful examples of regional cooperation, and strengthen the ties between the three countries. Discuss global issues that affect cooperation.

We invite young leaders between the ages of 18 and 30 who are working to solve problems related to climate change, human rights, security, citizen participation, etc. to participate in the 1st Japan-U.S.-Korea Global Leadership Youth Summit. Please apply!

Successful applicants will be able to participate in a three-day summit in Busan from July 2024th to 7th, 11, as well as four virtual programs, all of which will be fully funded.
