The HIRODAI SIPS student management team has reported the results of the study abroad survey to the president!

On Wednesday, October 2023th, 10 the HIRODAI SIPS Student Management Team (Hereinafter referred to as the "Student Management Team") reported the results of the study abroad survey to the president!

The student management team is mainly made up of students who have actually studied abroad and carries out activities to support Hirosaki University students who are interested in studying abroad. The student management team has contributed to the promotion of study-abroad programs in various ways, and in June, we conducted a study-abroad survey among all faculties to investigate study-abroad needs within the university. A total of 6 people responded to the survey, and we received many opinions about our university's study abroad system and obstacles to studying abroad. Regarding the results of this study abroad survey, Sojiro Sato, leader of the student management team and a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Medicine, reported to President Masaku Fukuda, Director Koichi Wakabayashi, and Director Kaori Sugihara of the International Collaboration Headquarters.

Among the most common opinions expressed in the survey results were, ``There is no information available,'' ``It is not easy to ask study abroad counsel. ,'' ``It's expensive,'' and ``It's difficult to study abroad because of the undergraduate curriculum.''

Based on this, Mr. Sato expressed his thoughts, ``I would be happy if studying abroad became a natural option for all students at Hirosaki University,'' to which President Fukuda replied, ``Please continue to do your best. He kindly said, ``We would like to consider implementing short-term programs that are easier for students to participate in, such as PBL (Project Based Learning).''

Once again, we would like to thank all the Hirosaki University students who cooperated with the study abroad survey in June.

The HIRODAI SIPS student management team will take your opinions seriously and will continue to work to promote study abroad at Hirosaki University, so we appreciate your continued support.
