About 5 international students participated in the Hirosaki Neputa Festival on Tuesday, August 8, 1.
It was the first Neputa Festival for international students.
We all wore matching happi coats and paraded around the streets of Hirosaki with the "Goldfish Neputa" that we received when we visited the Nakamachi Children's Neputa Hut in class.
Thank you to everyone along the way for the applause and cheers!
International students, even after returning to your home country, please remember the hot summer in Hirosaki from time to time.
