On June 2023, 6 (Friday), the first semester of 23 international student cultural experience exchange meeting "experience-based tourism" was held.
This time, we visited Hirakawa City, which is next to Hirosaki City, on a field trip aimed at deepening our understanding of Aomori Prefecture and promoting international exchange.
There were 31 participants, including international students and Hirosaki University students!
On that day, I visited Joy World Pacific Co., Ltd. and had a tour of the company.
In addition to explaining about the company and showing us a calorie-measuring machine called Calorie Answer, we were also given a tour of a nearby farm.
Various varieties of strawberries are grown on the farm, and they looked very delicious.

After the company tour, we took a walk around Saruga Park, and then visited Seibien Garden.
The guide taught me many things about the building and the garden, and I learned a lot.

The story of the guide was interesting.
At the end, we went to the Neputa Exhibition Hall to see Hirakawa City's large fan Neputa!
The height is 12m!
I was very moved to see the world's best fan Neputa up close.

Thank you very much to everyone at Joy World Pacific Co., Ltd., the guides at Seibien, and everyone at Hirakawa City Hall.
We are planning to implement experience-based sightseeing in the second term, so please join us next time.
