The Reiwa 5th year Hirodai SIPS Student Management Team Appointment Ceremony was held!

On May 5, Reiwa5 (Tuesday), the appointment ceremony for the FY Reiwa23 HIRODAI SIPS Student Management Team was held.

HIRODAI SIPS was newly established at our university to participate in SIPS (Staff & student Initiative for Promoting Study Abroad), which is a related project of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's public-private collaborative study abroad creation project "Tobitate! Study Abroad JAPAN". This is the common name for the on-campus network for promoting overseas study abroad programs. This is a new project that will start this year, and the ``Student Management Team,'' which is made up of students who have actually studied abroad, will play a central role in supporting Hirosaki University students who are interested in studying abroad.

At the appointment ceremony, Director Kaori Sugihara handed the student management team a membership card. The members of the student management team come from a wide variety of grades and affiliations, including graduates of Hiroshima University's global human resources development program "HIROSAKI Hayabusa College," former students of the US-Japan Student Conference, and short-term study abroad students who are interested in studying abroad and international exchange.

Please look forward to the future activities of the HIRODAI SIPS student management team.
