Inter-University Exchange Agreement Concluded with University of Extremadura (Spain)

On February XNUMX, XNUMX, an inter-university exchange agreement and a memorandum of understanding regarding student exchange were concluded between our university and the University of Extremadura.President Fukuda and Executive Director Sugihara visited the University of Extremadura and held a signing ceremony, which was the first agreement concluded with a university in Spain.The agreement with Japanese universities seems to have attracted a lot of attention from the local media, and there were multiple media reports.

The University of Extremadura is a public university established in 1973 in the province of Extremadura, Spain. It has 17 faculties, including Philosophy and Literature, Education and Psychology, Medicine and Health Sciences, Industrial Engineering, and Agricultural Engineering. It is a large university with approximately 24,000 undergraduate students, approximately 8,000 graduate students, and approximately 1,500 faculty members.In addition to serving as a dispatch destination for students wishing to study in Spain, exchanges in a wide range of fields can be expected.

At the ceremony, both presidents gave their greetings, signed the agreement, and exchanged souvenirs.
