[October 10th and 19th] Members of the New Zealand Appleless Association, the National Institute of Plant and Food, Lincoln University and the New Zealand Embassy visited.

 On Wednesday, October 4th and Thursday, October 10th, 19, 20 people visited Hirosaki University: New Zealand Appleless Association CEO Terry Meekle and International Relations Manager Elena Deuter, Plant and Food National Laboratory Chief Scientist Jim Walker and General Manager Joron Dyer, Lincoln University Dean Hugh Bigsby, Counselor David Allen and New Zealand Embassy Policy Advisor Zia Rose.

 In the first half of October 10, he exchanged opinions with faculty and staff members from the International Relations Office and the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences about the possibility of future agreements and research exchanges, and then paid a courtesy visit to President Fukuda.In the second half, he gave a special lecture on the themes of "New Zealand's agricultural business in the global market," "Future orchard production system," and "Introduction to the National Institute of Plant and Food."

 On October 10th, they visited the Fujisaki farm and received an explanation about apple varieties and cultivation methods, and then tasted the apples grown on the farm.

 It is hoped that this visit will lead to further collaboration and revitalization of exchanges with New Zealand officials.
