For about three months from October XNUMX to January XNUMX, XNUMX students from our university acted as "global ambassadors". “Global Ambassador” provides a place for international exchange that you can participate in while staying in Japan, aiming to develop the ability to play an active role as an ambassador (ambassador) in a society where internationalization is progressing.
The main activities are as follows: (XNUMX) Keep in touch with partners of overseas partner universities and hold meetings about three times. (XNUMX) The meeting will be held online to exchange opinions with partners according to the theme. (XNUMX) After completing all meetings with your partner, create a report (poster) about new discoveries and stimuli. (XNUMX) An opinion exchange meeting will be held between the ambassadors at the general meeting.

From the questionnaire after the activity, "Every time I had meetings with my partner, I felt that I wanted to go abroad and become more proficient in English." There were opinions such as "I realized that there are many things" and "It was a good opportunity to think again about my own common sense and common sense".
Also, for the latter half of the activities starting in April XNUMX, each of them said, "I would like to introduce the town where I live," "I would like to prepare and research the country and culture of the other party in advance so that I can expand into a deeper story this time," "I would like to actively create an atmosphere for conversation," and "I would like to create a present that conveys the goodness of Japan or Hirosaki to my new partner."
In addition to meetings with partners, ambassadors are creating a YouTube video introducing the university as a material to convey the appeal of Hirosaki University to new partners for the second half of the activities from April.The video has already been shot and is currently being edited.It will be completed before the second half of the activity starts, so please look forward to YouTube along with the second half of the ambassador's activities! !
