Two years after the Covid-2 pandemic, the 74th Japan-America Student Conference is scheduled to be held face-to-face in the United States from August 2022 to 8, 4.
Over the course of three weeks, the conference will visit three sites in New York, Washington DC, and San Francisco, where approximately 3 students from Japan and the United States will engage in heated discussions in a variety of fields.
Participants belong to subcommittees according to their interests, and freely select and discuss themes.We will realize mutual understanding between the students of both countries through “honest dialogue,” which is possible only because we are students.
In addition, various field trips will be held during the conference, and activities will be carried out to experience the culture of each region.Through experiences that cannot be obtained at a desk, you can broaden your horizons and further enrich your discussions.
At the final forum, which will be held at the end of this conference, we will present the results of our activities to society.
During the three weeks of communal living, participants gained insight into a wide variety of topics, including Japan-U.S. relations, through discussions in subcommittees, field trips, cultural experiences, lectures and discussions with local students, and results presentations at forums. deepen.
