On October 10th (Thursday), the “Asian Rectors Summit Forum” hosted by National Pingtung University (Taiwan) was held online.Fifteen universities from Asian countries participated, and President Fukuda attended from our university.
We signed an inter-university exchange agreement with National Pingtung University on April 2018, 4, and the vice president (R10) visited us for the agreement signing ceremony, and attended the 1th anniversary ceremony held at National Pingtung University. We have had various exchanges such as participation (R6) and acceptance of international students.
At this forum, representatives from each university gave presentations on "Challenges of Future University in the Post COVID-19 Pandemic" for about 19 minutes each, and President Fukuda said, " We gave presentations in English on Hirosaki University's issues" and "Future digital shift".Various initiatives in each country were introduced, and we were able to have a lively exchange of opinions online.
