Students from our university participated in the "Language and Culture Online Program" hosted by Thompson Rivers College.

From August 9th (Monday) to August 27th (Friday), 2021, students from our university participated in the "Language and Culture Online Program" hosted by Thompson Rivers University in Canada. The program consisted of "English language learning," "Canadian culture," "intercultural communication skills," "elective subjects," "individual seminars," and "virtual activities," and aimed to improve students' English skills and deepen their understanding of Canadian culture.

The program concluded successfully, with participating students sharing comments such as, "During the program, I had significantly more exposure to English than usual, and it was great to be able to converse with native speakers in English," "By repeatedly listening, thinking, and speaking in English, I was able to recall English expressions I had forgotten," and "I realized that my English could be understood by native speakers, so I want to continue studying English independently without stopping here."

The International Relations Office plans to continue providing opportunities for our students to take online programs at overseas universities. If you are interested, please contact the International Relations Office. We also regularly post updates on the International Relations Office's official social media accounts.
