[Deadline: June 6] Japan-America Student Conference Forum Attendance Tour

The Office for International Relations is planning a tour to attend the Aomori Site Public Forum of the Japan-America Student Conference on Sunday, August 8th.

The Japan-America Student Conference was established in 1934 as Japan's first international student exchange program.
Every year, about 70 university and graduate students from Japan and the United States participate in the event held in Japan every other year.

The 73rd Japan-America Student Conference will be held in three cities (Aomori, Fukushima, and Tokyo) from August 2021 (Mon) to August 8 (Fri), 2, with the main theme of "Fetal Movements of the New Era - A Future Built with Bonds and Harmony -".

The Aomori site will be held for four days from August 2021th (Thursday) to August 8th (Sunday), 5, with the theme of "Regional Revitalization from the Perspective of Youth".

At the public forum to be held at Aomori Public University on Sunday, August 8, students from both Japan and the United States, including five Hirosaki University planning committee members, will present the results of their discussions.

For the first time in history, Aomori Prefecture has been chosen as the venue!
