The U.S. Embassy gave us information about leadership training for female students.See below for program details.
The TOMODACHI-MetLife Women's Leadership Program, run by the U.S.-Japan Council and the U.S. Embassy, is a free, five-session online training in English.
This program started in 2013 and has been held annually in Tokyo and Osaka, and in Sapporo in 2016 and 2018, with the participation of XNUMX female college student mentees and career female mentors. After five training sessions, the final event was a national convention in Tokyo, and the students traveled to the United States for a week.
Corona misfortune, last year was canceled, and this year it will be held online.The venue for the past two events was Sapporo, and most of the female students were from Hokkaido University.Thanks to the online system, we hope that students from Tohoku will also apply this time.
By all means, we would like female students who have English skills and are interested in self-improvement online training to apply.At the same time, we are also looking for career women who can participate as mentors.If you are interested in this, such as alumni, please introduce us.
