Our students gave an interim report at the 73rd Japan-America Student Conference in Aomori Support Committee

The Japan-America Student Conference (JASC) was established in 1934 as Japan's first international student exchange program.

 

The 73rd Japan-America Student Conference will be held in three cities (Aomori, Fukushima, and Tokyo) from August 2021 (Mon) to August 8 (Fri), 2, with the main theme of "Fetal Movements of the New Era - A Future Built with Bonds and Harmony -".

The Aomori site will be held for four days from August 2021th (Thursday) to August 8th (Sunday), 5, with the theme of "Regional Revitalization from the Perspective of Youth".

At the public forum on Sunday, August 8, students from both Japan and the United States, including five Hirosaki University planning committee members, will present the results of their discussions.

 

Ms. Akari Ito (Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, 8th year) made an interim report on behalf of the planning committee of Hirosaki University at the 5rd Japan-America Student Conference in Aomori Support Committee held at the Aomori Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday, May 21, in preparation for the announcement in August.

On the day of the event, Mr. Keiichiro Wakai, chairman of the Aomori Support Committee, chairman of the Aomori Prefectural Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and other members of the committee, gave me various advices and gave me a new feeling for the actual event.
