Our students attended the "XNUMX KNU Online Winter School" sponsored by Kyungpook University.

For two weeks from January XNUMXth to February XNUMXth, XNUMX, seven students from our university attended the "XNUMX KNU Online Winter School" hosted by Kyungpook University in South Korea. The contents of the program included "Korean language (basic level)," "cultural experience," "virtual tourist information," and "exchange with Korean international students," etc., and deepened their understanding of Korean society and culture as well as improving their Korean language skills.

According to the questionnaire after the course, "I was able to interact with participants from other universities and countries, and my motivation to study Korean became even stronger." "Although I was busy studying for tests and writing my graduation thesis, it was easy to participate because I was able to watch the recorded videos in my own free time." I thought it was a really valuable experience to be able to come into contact with foreign students and other languages in this way." The program ended on a high note.

One of the students who took the course said, "If I can have the opportunity to interact with people whose mother tongue is Korean online, I thought that even someone like me, who has never been abroad, could do it. When I actually participated, I found that there were many students from other countries who were interested in Korean or other languages, and interacting with them was a valuable experience. After participating in this course, I realized how important it is to take action first before thinking about why I don't do it." Therefore, the Office for International Relations will continue to provide opportunities for our students to take classes at overseas universities online. If you are interested, please contact the International Relations Office. The official SNS of the Headquarters for International Relations also regularly posts new information.
