On Monday, June 6th, students studying Japanese food culture and green tourism headed to Soma for hands-on learning.
I stopped by the JA Soma village specialty product direct sales center "Ringo no Mori" and checked the products on sale.Afterwards, they experienced making Japanese paper at the Exchange Center Sukinosato, then went for a walk to a nearby shrine and tried their hand at making Japanese food.

On June 10th students studying Japanese Food Culture and Green Tourism visited Soma. Their trip began with a visit to the local farmers market to check the produce sold there

Before experiencing washi (traditional Japanese paper) making, taking a ramble to a nearby shrine and learning how to make their own Japanese cuisine.
