From Hirosaki University Summer Program XNUMX Tutor Students
In this year's summer program, we had six students from our university act as tutors.The role of the tutor students is to support the international students participating in the summer program in terms of daily life and guide them around Hirosaki City.
Here are some impressions from tutor students.
- I'm glad I took the international students to karaoke and made them very happy.
- When I took an international student to a XNUMX-yen uniform shop, he was surprised at how cheap it was.I wasn't very good at English, so I was worried, but the foreign students were very good at Japanese, which helped me.
- When I took the international students to Yosakoi Tsugaru, they were very satisfied with the quality of the Yosakoi club at Hirosaki University, which made me somewhat happy.
- I was able to come into contact with the values of international students.I was often surprised and impressed by their interests and ways of thinking.If I have another chance, I would like to become a tutor again.
- Even when I was mostly just accompanying them, I was happy to receive so much appreciation from the international students.Through this activity, I became more interested in foreign cultures.It was a precious experience.
