An inter-university exchange agreement was concluded on October 29, 10 between our university and the University of Hawaii Community College.
The University of Hawaii, a state university established in 1964, consists of three four-year colleges and seven two-year colleges (community colleges).Although there are agreements between other Japanese universities and individual community colleges, agreements with all seven community colleges are rare, and this is the first time.The inter-university exchange agreement includes specific details of student exchanges and faculty and staff exchanges.Recruitment of students has already started, and our students will study abroad from mid-August 3 at the earliest.
This is the first agreement with an English-speaking university in 18 years since Thompson Rivers University (Canada) was concluded in 11, and it is expected that the number of students sent overseas will increase further.
