Scholarships are available to privately-funded students. Selection is based on the applicant’s scholastic records and other factors.
The following scholarships are now awarded to privately- funded students at this University. Details will be posted on the International students bulletin board when they are offered.
For further details, please contact the International Student Section.
Not all students can get scholarships.

Tuition Fees

The entrance examination fee, registration fee and tuition fee are shown in the table below. Japanese Government Scholarship Students are exempt from these payments.

If tuition fees are altered while you are enrolled, the new fees will apply to you.

If you do not pay your fees, you will be expelled from Hirosaki University.

Tuition Exemption

Graduate students who face financial difficulties may be exempted from tuition. Hirosaki University Admission and Tuition fees benefits are also available for undergraduate freshmen, however, not available for research students, auditors, and credited auditors.
