The University of Turin is a national university founded in 1404 by Pope Benedict XIII, and is known as the oldest university in Europe. There are 13 faculties, including the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Science, the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, International Literature and Contemporary Culture, the Faculty of Mathematics, the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences, and the Faculty of Physics. About 27 people are enrolled.

We have more than 80 agreements with research institutes in more than 500 countries, and in Japan we have agreements with Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and Waseda University.

As for the future prospects, the University of Turin has a Japanese language department, so we can expect to accept exchange students from the same university. In addition, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, International Literature, and Contemporary Culture at the same university offers classes in foreign languages (Italian, English, French, German) in English, so it is possible to learn about a variety of academic subjects. Since there is a tutor system by university students, it is an environment where you can study abroad with peace of mind.

In addition, as the university is a comprehensive university, faculty exchanges across a wide range of fields can be expected.
