After learning about the social circumstances that gave rise to kogin embroidery, students in the Regional Crafts class tried their hand at the craft.
On May 5th (Friday), we learned and experienced Koginzashi in Mr. Sawada's class.
Within the set rules, I worked hard, one stitch at a time, while feeling like a Tsugaru woman who found a fashionable way of life.
From the next time, Tsugaru painting will start!
