On January 1th (Wednesday), international students studying the modern cultural history of Tsugaru visited a historic Western building in the center of Hirosaki City. At the Hirosaki Church of the United Church of Christ in Japan, which was established in 17, Pastor Muraoka taught me about the role the church played in the modernization of the region.
